International Jazz Day Big Hit

International Jazz Day was a big hit, by any measure. Did you catch the press on it? I was following along from home - and saw the concert hosted by the White House - wow! It's hard to believe so many of the world's top jazz musicians were in the same place at the same time!

There were workshops, lectures, and shows all around the world - with big highlights in DC. Some of my favorite musicians performed and it was magic. I was thrilled to have so much wonderful jazz at my fingertips for the days and weeks leading up to the big day. Some of my favorites jazz vocalists from the evening were: Kurt Elling, Jamie Cullum, Diana Krall, and Dee Dee Bridgewater. Truly first class talent and all great jazz vocalists.
